WorkIT provides a unique and innovative web-enabled multimedia work experience program designed to be used by school work experience co-ordinators, pupils, work experience administrators and health & safety officers.

WorkIT features pupil browsing facilities; an interactive on-line booking system controlled by the school and integrated mail merge facilities creating confirmation letters to employers and parents. Work experience Coordinators use Gateway's content management system to update vacancies.

It also offers a facility allowing health & safety officers to update relevant information on opportunities along with case studies of real people on placement in a variety of occupational areas.

WorkIT also delivers a complete and interactive Intermediate 1 Unit in Work Experience which will lead to SQA accreditation. This will allow pupils to save activities in their portfolio in PlanIT Plus which is now integrated with WorkIT.
