This month our information team has added around 90 new videos to Planit, our careers and learning information website, to enhance the bank of job profiles.
Some were generously provided by NHS Education for Scotland (www.nes.scot.nhs.uk) and NHS Health Careers (www.healthcareers.nhs.uk), while the remaining were purchased from the careers inspiration resource ‘iCould’ (icould.com), covering various industries.
The video content gives pupils a valuable insight into what a job would entail, through listening to what an employee says about their role, how they got into it, as well as providing a visual indication of the working environment.
Planit has almost 700 job profiles across 26 career areas. Our information team source and add videos to complement our job profiles on an ongoing basis ensuring continual enhancement of the career information available to young people.
