We are continually enhancing WorkIT to meet the needs of our users and we are delighted to announce that we have developed a WorkIT module to enable Foundation Apprenticeship programme providers to manage work placements for Foundation Apprenticeships.
Developed in partnership with Glasgow Kelvin College, following a successful pilot with 3 colleges in 2018/19, the system is now available for license by local authorities, colleges and training providers.
Simple to use, the WorkIT FA module provides Programme Providers with a system to manage the end to end work placement process including:
- input of employer details and placements
- matching pupils to placements
- managing H&S visits, documentation and outcomes
- management reporting
- evaluation of placements by pupil/employers.
Schools and Local Authorities users of WorkIT are able to
- identify those pupils undertaking FA
- view the work placement details for a pupil including H&S information
- obtain parental permission for placements
- run management reports.
